About Luke

On October 1st 2019, after a short battle with meningitis, twenty three year old Luke Brown sadly passed away. His passing left a massive hole /in the lives of his family – Viv, Del, Stacey and Milly and his much loved nephews and niece, as well as all of his very close friends, and touched anyone who heard about his story.

Even though times have been extremely hard since his passing, Luke’s family and friends have pulled together to ensure his memory never fades. A large amount of money was raised to contribute towards his funeral and a memorial stone at Tranmere Rovers Football Club, which was donated by not only his loved ones, but by the local community – many of whom had never met Luke, but were touched by his story.

Luke’s family and friends have decided to create a foundation in his memory, it will be called ‘The Luke Brown Meningitis Foundation’.
